AI gives us more options than we can possibly use.
The challenge is selecting the best one when facing challenge/problem.
AI give us options. Humans need to select.
How to make the best quality decisions when dealing with uncertainty.
Your executive judgment is the most valuable trait you bring to employer. Choosing priorities is where your leadership comes is. You were hired to provide innovation. .Bring it!
AI determines operating capability. Leaders no longer think of AI from technology perspective. From operating perspective AI is no different than any other tool.
A leaders challenge? Knowing when and how to integrate AI to benefit operations. Adoption comes down to the integration plan and steps, and how those are presented (sold).
That requires trust from your teams. Implementing is not the issue, dynamic implementing is. That’s where trust comes in.
People are getting offered new jobs every few months. Leaders ability to retain employees comes back to the trust employees have in the leader and the direction they are being lead.
Trusting AI is still iffy for most employees. They see what it can do, but can they rely on it? Commitment leaders show, in the AI, carries lot of weight with employees.
The commitment employees have? Comes back to trust they have in their leader. A leader can be “the” leader or heads of various teams. Leadership is not title. It’s your ability to create the dynamics so people want to follow you.
Leadership always comes back to employees belief in person directing effort. That relies on the relationship the leader has with their employees.
Assess your own leadership
Are you selecting the best available priorities?
How effectively are you communicating priorities selected to employs? Are you getting your message across? Or are you seeing looks of confusion and uncertainty?
Do employees have confidence in you? Trust you?
Are you demonstrating your commitment?
You have Executive Judgement.
Today is great day to step back and review each of above. Are there areas you can improve? Should do more? What will you change, starting tomorrow. Leadership requires continual self-evaluation.
Optimize your executive judgement!
